“Man, sometimes it takes you a long time to sound like yourself.”
― Miles Davis
Miles knew what he was talking about.
For the past 15 years, I've been bringing strong, funny and vulnerable women to life. Along the way, I've continued to hone my craft through study in scene analysis, movement, long-form improv and solo show writing. With every year that passes, I find myself more and more my own artist. I seek challenging work and recongize that resistance and discomfort can sometimes be a part of that. Real growth comes from what is difficult. And more often than not, inhabiting another life is a incredible journey filled with joy and discovery. Its a complex, rich and exhilarating path I hope to continue on for many years to come!
Bronx born but New Jersey raised, I graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Art History and Theatre Arts. I live in Astoria, Queens with my sweet husband, Juan Carlos. We are hooman slaves to an adorable Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua mix named Teddy.
